Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy on the Internet. We will not use any personal information that we receive from you for any purpose other than for that which you have requested. We will email you with relevant information only if you have made that request of us, and will keep this information on file, unless you request otherwise.
We will not sell or rent your information to others, nor will we share your information with any third party.
Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. may provide links to outside resources in an effort to recommend products and/or services that will benefit you and your purchases from Ames. We are not responsible for the content provided on these sites or their privacy policies.
TERMS OF SALE
When purchasing product from Ames Tile & Stone Ltd., you must be prepared to adhere to the terms and conditions listed below.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE While we do everything possible to meet delivery requirements, orders can only be accepted subject to delays caused by strikes, accidents, deliveries from our suppliers, and/or any other conditions beyond our control.
ORDER/CREDIT CANCELLATIONS Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. reserves the right to hold and/or cancel credit privileges and orders in the event a customer becomes delinquent in their payments, or when they exceed their credit limit.
PRICES Prices, terms and conditions are those in effect at time of shipment and are subject to change without notice.
GOVERNING LAWS This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the province in which the branch of Ames Tile & Stone Ltd., which sold the goods, is situated. Point of sale will be at Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. branch location from which the product was shipped.
RETURNED GOODS Returned goods will not be accepted without prior consent, and will not be accepted after 15 days from date of delivery. A minimum 15% restocking charge will be made on all accepted returns. Returned material must be prepaid and in original cartons, in saleable condition and accompanied by original invoice number. No returns accepted for discontinued, clearance or sale-priced items.
PRODUCT CLAIMS SOME VARIATION OF SHADE IS INHERENT IN ALL BURNED CLAY PRODUCTS, AND NO CLAIMS CONCERNING VARIATION IN SHADE WILL BE CONSIDERED OR ALLOWED AFTER TILE IS INSTALLED. IF, FOR ANY REASON, OUR PRODUCTS ARE REGARDED AS UNSATISFACTORY, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED BEFORE INSTALLATION, AND CONSEQUENTLY WE WILL NOT MAKE ANY ALLOWANCES FOR LABOUR COSTS FOR REPLACING MATERIAL, OR FOR OTHER CHARGES. METHODS OF INSTALLATION ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL, AND WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHIPPING, CRACKING, CRAZING, SPALLING, ETCHING, DISCOLOURATION OR LOOSENING OF TILE FROM THE SETTING BED.
FREIGHT CLAIMS Delivery to carrier shall constitute delivery to customer regardless of F.O.B. point whether freight is prepaid, collect or allowed. Claims for merchandise lost, damaged, or delayed in transit must be made against the carrier by the customer. All claims for shortages must be reported within ten (10) days after receipt of shipment.
These terms and conditions constitute the sole and entire agreement between Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. and the customer, and Ames Tile & Stone Ltd. shall not be bound by any other conditions, oral or written, expressed or implied, other than those contained herein.
